Guidelines for Extended Abstract

Extended Abstract should be prepared appropriately and submitted electronically (i.e., PDF) via the MS Conference Management Toolkit. Manuscripts that comply with the following specific guidelines will only qualify for the review process:

Preparation instructions

  1. Font
    • Times New Roman
    • Single-line space throughout the manuscript
  2. Section headings and subtitles
    • Left-aligned (12 pt., bold)
  3. Figures and tables
  4. All the figures and tables should be captioned appropriately and cited in the text. When citing a figure or table in the text, refer to it by its number, such as “Figure 3” or “Table 4”. Should be able to supply figures in a vector graphics format (MS Word and/or EPS) separately.
  5. Units, acronyms, and abbreviations
  6. SI units should be used, and a single space should be left between the numerical and the unit. All acronyms should be written in full at the first-time appearance, and abbreviations can be used subsequently.
  7. Language/spelling
  8. UK English only
  9. Page limit
  10. The number of pages is limited to 3 (including the list of references).
  11. Identity revealing
  12. The manuscript should not contain any information to identify or trace the authors.
  13. Ethical clearance
  14. Submissions that involve human or animal trials should provide evidence of approval obtained by the relevant ethics review committee.

    2. A precise title is mandatory
    3. Abstract (11 pt., justified, bold)
    4. A single paragraph less than 300 words
    5. Keywords (11 pt., left-aligned, italics)
    6. Should be in alphabetic order Provide 3–6 keywords
    7. Main sections (11 pt., justified)
    8. Introduction: Justification of the research work, objectives, and hypotheses Methodology/Methods: All materials, chemicals, subjects, and samples used should be identified. The analytical, survey and statistical methods should be explained concisely and appropriately. Results and Discussions: Can be combined Conclusion(s): Should be specific and concise
    9. Acknowledgement/s (11 pt.)
    10. Only the essential organization(s)/institute(s) and/or individuals should be included.
    11. References (11 pt.)
    It is highly encouraged to use any reference management tool. Use Harvard referencing style (“Cite them right 10th edition)

Guidelines for poster submission

Poster should be prepared appropriately and submitted electronically (i.e., PDF) via the MS Conference Management Toolkit.

    Presentation instructions

    • The size of the poster must be A0.
    • On acceptance, the presenter needs to print and bring the poster for the conference.
