Celebrating the power of Research. Faculty of Technological Studies proudly announce that Mrs.Lojenaa Kartheeswaran (Lecturer from Department of Information and Communication Technology) received the<\/div>
Vice Chancellor Award for\u00a0 Research Excellence \u2013 2025 under Young Researcher Category.\u00a0<\/div>
The University Research Committee\u00a0 conducted the awarding ceremony on 19th December 2025, from 2.30pm to 3.00 pm, to present to the winner.\u00a0<\/div>
The ceremony saw the participation of\u00a0 staff members from the University of Vavuniya, who gathered to support and celebrate the awardee. The Vice Chancellor , Acting Registrar and the three Deans appreciated the achievements of the award winner and delivered speeches, encouraging all staff members to engage in scholarly work. We are excited to invite school students from the Northern Province to participate in YoungTech Minds 1.0, an ICT innovation competition organized by the Department of ICT, Faculty of Technological Studies, University of Vavuniya.<\/p>

This competition empowers young minds to develop and present technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges across fields such as education, agriculture, health, environment, and business.
