    The Department of ICT – FOT ,University of Vavuniya<\/span><\/a><\/span> proudly congratulate our student Miss.Tharsayini Mohan, from third year for her successful achievement of becoming the 1st Runner Up at the hackathon \ud835\udc07\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc1c\ud835\udc24 \ud835\udc0b\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc24\ud835\udc1e \ud835\udc1a \ud835\udc06\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc25 \ud835\udfd0.\ud835\udfce – \ud835\udc06\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1d \ud835\udc05\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc27\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc25 and winning a cash price of Rs.125,000.00<\/div><\/div>
    Ms.Tharshayini became the winner of \ud835\udc07\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc1c\ud835\udc24 \ud835\udc0b\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc24\ud835\udc1e \ud835\udc1a \ud835\udc06\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc25 \ud835\udfd0.\ud835\udfce Nothern Chapter took place on the 3rd of November 2024 for her creative and innovative solution \u201cSmart Cane for visually impaired people\u201d and was selected for the \ud835\udc07\ud835\udc1a\ud835\udc1c\ud835\udc24 \ud835\udc0b\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc24\ud835\udc1e \ud835\udc1a \ud835\udc06\ud835\udc22\ud835\udc2b\ud835\udc25 \ud835\udfd0.\ud835\udfce Grand Final took place at the Jetwing Colombo Seven on the 3rd of December 2024 and secured the first runner up position among the 12 incredible teams participated.<\/div><\/div>
    This event was brought by the SLASSCOM Women Technopreneurs Forum and was more than just a hackathon, it was a platform to celebrate the power of women in tech, break barriers, and challenge stereotypes.
